Casper’s Own Movie Star: LoRayne Day

LoRayne Day grew up in Casper singing and dancing in school in the 1930s. She headed to the bright lights of Hollywood in the 1940s. And for a while her star burned bright. Come and learn the story of Casper’s own movie star.

Firearms From the Collection

Firearms are a part of the history of the west and the founding of Wyoming. The collection at Fort Caspar Museum is wide and diverse, from a model 1864 Joslyn carbine to a .22 Derringer by SportArms, and a handgun once owned by Tom O'Day.
