Facility and Park Rentals at Fort Caspar Museum

Fort Caspar Museum has both indoor and outdoor spaces available for rent.  Groups have rented our spaces for lectures, musical performances, reunions, holiday parties, meetings, classes, weddings and wedding receptions, depositions, auditions, and more.

We do not have any kitchen facilities or catering supplies.  Food and beverages may be served in these spaces, but clients must bring in everything they will need.  We provide chairs, tables, a lectern, and a projection screen at no additional charge.  Audio/visual and wireless services are available for a fee.  Decorating options are limited and must be discussed in advance with the staff.

A refundable damage deposit is required at the time of the reservation.

Alcohol is allowed, but having alcohol at your event requires the client to obtain additional permits and licensed servers.  It also increases the damage deposit.

Fees:  Rental fees are based on time of day, duration of event, any a/v services provided, and the number of people attending the function.  You may review the rental and fee forms (see below), or call to talk to a member of our staff at 307-235-8462. 


Indoor Rentals:  We have two rental spaces inside the Museum:  our Multi-Use Room (capacity 120) and our Classroom (capacity 30).

Outdoor Rentals:  The Fort grounds, the adjacent Centennial and Fort Caspar Parks, and other areas of the site are available for rentals as well.
